Welcome to my little space under the sun, in this absolutely vast space that we call the World Wide Web! Some background information now. By qualification and profession, I'm a Visual Communication Designer & Illustrator. Having graduated in Fashion Communication from NIFT Gandhinagar, India, in the year 2017, I have forever been surrounded by a multitude of paints, colours, illustration tools and what not! Currently, I have my own label selling a range of meticulously hand illustrated stationery products, along with designing bespoke stationery for client projects as well. It was during my 4 year Communication Design course at NIFT that I bought my first DSLR camera. I still remember it was a Fashion Photography Module for which the DSLR had to be used, but of course, I ended up strongly disliking fashion photography. However, armed with my new camera in hand, I ended up with a new found passion for travel photography. And boy, was I hooked!! My course concluded and I travelled across my own magnificent country India and managed to squeeze in a few international trips to Europe, Bali & the Maldives, while working full time on my label.

Ever since, the innate quest to travel and capture my favourite moments, has remained unchanged! Be it other countries, or various cities & towns of India, or even visits to beautiful sites in my own city, the urge to discover places and share pictures has stayed with me. Earlier, I just used to post my travel pictures on Instagram. Now these were the days when Instagram used to be a photo sharing app. I was quite content sharing my photography with like minded travel enthusiasts from across the world there and never thought I wanted another avenue. However as most of us are familiar how Instagram became a poor knock-off of TikTok with its mindless reels, with people dancing to trending audios, I felt the need for another avenue. In a world of instant gratification, there was no space on Instagram for beautifully captured still pictures, with poignant detailed captions describing my experience and the places themselves. Hence I ended up with the classic and original social medium, blogging. This avenue is perfect for me, because it gives me the space to not just share with you the pictures I click, but also the stories behind those pictures, my experiences, travel tips, and much more.
